What You Can't See Could Harm You
Pets share so much with us every day! We love it when they share an excited welcome home, a listening ear, a cuddly nap, a warm kiss, and all of their love and loyalty. They can also share with us things better left not shared.
Did you know parasites such as Roundworm, Hookworm, and Tapeworm can be transmitted from pets to people? These harmful parasites are common and cannot typically be seen with the naked eye. The best prevention is performing routine parasite screens (fecal tests) at your veterinarian, and providing monthly preventative for your pet.
We encourage you to read these great handouts and share them with your friends and family. Parasite prevention and awareness can help eliminate the prevalence in your area!
